About Olena Ross

- In addition to teaching, Olena performed regularly with a variety of music groups (Nova Vista Symphony, Mission College Symphony, Winchester Orchestra, small groups, quartets, and as a soloist)

- In 2010 she founded the string Quartet “Nuance”, where she played first violin prior to moving to Fort Mill, South Carolina.

- She is currently a member of Charlotte Civic Orchestra.

- While working at Polonsky Piano School Olena has been extensively trained by Dr. Viktor Polonsky in the School's unique teaching method, which combines the famous Russian teaching technique with the internationally known Suzuki method, and which can be applied to both piano and violin in order to teach students of all ages and abilities.

- While residing in San Jose, California, she continued her musical education taking classes at Foothill College and Mission College, as well as studying violin performance with Prof. Dale King.
